Professor Myra Walker has been a curator at the Texas Fashion Collection at UNT since 1987, where she also teaches courses in fashion history. Walker was the guest curator at the Meadows Museum at SMU for an exhibition entitled Balenciaga and His Legacy: Haute Couture from the Texas Fashion Collection in 2007. Walker also wrote an exhibition catalog of the same title published in November 2006 by Yale University Press, UK. In fall 2006, Walker established Fashion on Main at 1901 Main in the Universities Center at Dallas. Walker is a member of the Costume Society of America and the American Association of Museums.
Dawn Figueroa recently joined the staff at the Texas Fashion Collection as collection manager in November 2008. She relocated to Texas from Hamilton, New York where she worked as museum assistant for the Picker Art Gallery at Colgate University. She has had a long time love of fashion and is thrilled to be bringing her art and museum background to the Texas Fashion Collection.

Lindsey Stevens joined the Collection in January 2008. She graduated May 2009 with a BA in Art History with an emphasis in Costume History. After graduation, Lindsey plans to teach elementary art in the North Texas area.
Kari Erickson joined the Collection in June 2008 after transferring from Iowa State, where she studied Fashion Design for 2 years. Now she is majoring in Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies, with a minor in Counselling. Kari plans to graduate in 2010.
