The exhibition presented 17 dramatic evening gowns inspired by the garments of ancient Egypt, including the kalasiris, tunic, caftan, and neo-classical draping. 20^th-century designers such as Oscar de la Renta, Giorgio di ‘Sant Angelo, Ralph Rucci and Germain Monteil were featured. The exhibition took place at Fashion on Main in the Universities Center at Dallas from February 5 through May 15, 2009.
